The UCSF Department of Neurology is proud to have multiple fellowship opportunities in a variety of adult and pediatric neurology specialties. We currently have 13 fellowships ( 4 GME and 9 non-GME) with close to 50 fellows total in various departments. This community of fellows represents diverse backgrounds and a variety of professional goals. The fellowship community comes together for orientation, social and educational opportunities throughout the year. The excellence of our research and clinical faculty and the variety of our training hospitals allows us to provide outstanding clinical training and research opportunities for fellows. UCSF's neurology and neurosurgery departments consistently receive the most biomedical research funding from the National Institutes of Health. The Neuroscience Graduate Program ranks among the top five in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report. UCSF Health's neurology, neurosurgery and psychiatry programs rank among the best in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report. In collaboration with UCSF Weill Institute for Neurosciences we provide unique opportunities for cross-departmental clinical work and research in the pursuit of advancing the neurosciences.
